Seniors: anybody else starting to lose hope?

Now that I’m pretty much the only person in my class to have gotten no news (can’t wait till Friday!!), yeah, I’m going crazy.

^^^

oops, I meant for the past few months, not years. lol apparently, my brain’s not working anymore =P

I still have about 4 schools out of 11 left to hear from… and two of them I should hear from this week!!!

Hang in there guys, just when it seems like you’ll never get a decision… you will haha.

I simply have no more expectations. Last week was absolutely terrible. Rejected by Macalester, WashU, Northwestern, Wesleyan, Vassar, McGill, UNC Chapel Hill, and I’ve been waitlisted at UChicago, with an early acceptance to NYU. I still have Columbia, Yale, and Brown to hear back from. Clearly I overshot, but my college advisor told me I wasn’t when applying. I’m going to a great college at this point, so if I get three more rejections I’ll be okay. I will say, however, how upset I am that certain people have been accepted to certain schools. I am certainly not the most impressive applicant any college has seen, however these people are on the Pauli-D level of the academic spectrum.

Well if I get rejected and waitlisted from my match schools what does it mean for my reach schools, etc., I don’t have a 4.0UW or a 2350 (UW3.9something and a 34 ACT) and my ECs aren’t god-tier.

I just have [the top ] four Ivy leagues to hear from… And if I got rejected from UCB (presumably on the basis of scores, knowing UC admissions), and waitlisted at Rice (…) I don’t see much prospect here.

Presumably I was a bit overconfident in myself as I applied.

after getting rejected from two colleges, i just feel completely hopeless. this process sucks.

I’m not stressing too much actually. After an early rejection from Stanford, I got accepted to every public school I applied to (UNC Chapel Hill, UCI, UCSB, UCLA, and UCB). Just waiting on Cornell, Columbia, and Harvard.

If I don’t get into an Ivy, I’ll be a Bruin next year! :)

dont bruin your life

^You are my hero.

don’t gouge yourself in the eye
