Seniors: AP Classes/Exams you wish you'd taken

What AP classes/exams do you wish you had taken in HS but never did? Or wish you had been able to take but your school didn't offer the class?

Took:
US Gov
US History

Chem junior year (don't have an AP science at all)
Music theory (school didn't offer)

-wouldn't have been able to do all those even if my school offered them, but I wish I'd been able to do some.

Your turn!

AP French Lit - last offered my sophomore year. I should have self-studied for the exam.
AP Comp Sci AB - last offered my sophomore year. I should have self-studied for the exam.
AP Studio Art 2D - it’d be really cool to work with a high-quality camera and put together a portfolio.

Man, then I’d be graduating with 27 exams, and my Internet “University of Pennsylvania '15” would be even larger.

Does the UPenn think allow you to list APs?

Took:
AP Macroeconomics
AP Calculus AB

Wish I’d taken:
AP Chemistry
AP Physics
AP Biology
AP Literature
AP Government

It looks like in the summer semester after freshman year I will take Physics, American Literature, and two other sciences to fulfill general requirements
My school charges a flat tuition few so it’s not that big of a deal…although my schedule is just packed and that makes me REALLY uneasy

World History - same as above

^
That’s actually pretty badass.

I think that your definition of badass needs some serious refining. :stuck_out_tongue: But thank you, that means a lot. It’s not as impressive as The RealFake, who took something like 17 AP exams as a junior - and probably scored better, on average, than I did this year.

Took:
AP World History
AP English Language
AP US History
AP Psychology
AP Physics B
AP English Literature
AP US Government
AP Comparative Politics
AP Spanish Language
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry

Wish I’d taken:
AP European History
AP Statistics
AP Biology

I took all the exams for courses offered at my school except Spanish Language, which I would’ve taken the class for if it fit into my schedule. I wish my school had AP Biology and Chemistry, though. Our only AP sciences is Physics, and I have a feeling that’s my worst of the three.

Taken/ Will take as a senior
AP Computer Science A
AP Graphic DEsign (or 2d Studio Art)
AP Calc AB
AP Stat
AP Bio

Wish I have taken

Took:

AP Statistics
AP English Language
AP US History
AP Spanish Language

AP Chemistry
AP US History

AP US Government

Wish I had taken:
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism- only mechanisms is offered.
AP Japanese- I want to learn Japanese so, so bad. School doesn’t offer it.
AP German- stupid counselors didn’t tell us we could take German 1 Freshman year. -_-
AP European History- not offered. ::

Sadly, the reason some courses are not offered is because Texas has certain things that must be studied (World history, US history, Texas history, etc.). Due to this, we don’t have time to take extra AP history classes. :/

^
Texas History is required in middle school… I don’t see how requiring US + World history limits other ap history classes. (i.e. euro) Are you saying if they weren’t required somehow it would be easier to take all 3?

LOL, Texas history. We never learned about California history in California. I guess its true that Texans have the most pride in their state of all Americans.

^
Texas also fought its own revolution and was an significant, independent country for 10 years. Irrelevant though.

You’re right. Not sure why I included that. o_o
However, my school makes us take world geography (regular or PAP) and a semester of economics and government (AP, dual credit, or regular).
