My school also has an all-night grad party... some of the prizes are pretty awesome ($500!), so I'm definitely going so at the very least I can try to win something. (But even if I don't, it still sounds pretty fun... ours is at a sporting complex so you can climb the rock wall, play lasertag, etc. if you don't want to play the casino games for raffle tickets.)

I'm also going to the Grad Night thing at Disneyland. It's actually a three-day trip, but honestly I'm not sure where else we're going... I know a water park was mentioned at one point, and they also signed us up for some sort of dinner theatre thing for one of the nights. On that trip I'm rooming with three other people: one of my best friends, one girl who's tolerable, and another girl who I really dislike, so that should be interesting...

Our school only had a senior dinner dance. It was out at a hotel about a half hour away from the school, went from 7-11:30 or something like that, and was seniors only. After it was over some kids went out and did more, I didn't and went to my grandparents house (they live like eight minutes from the hotel).

The whole night was food and dancing, no more. After that dinner dance there was nothing for us...except finals, the ceremony, and that stuff.

The reason we had so little is probably because I am from Pittsburgh and there's not much to do here.

We have Grad Bash which is at Universal, and Project Graduation the night after graduation. I am not attending either..... Grad Bash they actually make the guys and girls sit separately on buses and all that jazz. Project Graduation... I am not staying up all night in a bowling alley when I could be doing much more fun things.

deadgiveaway: in June? The seniors are going to Disneyland together as a school trip or is it self-planned? I am curious

It is one of our senior activities that take place during the last week of school, so it's a school trip. :) It goes on until way early in the morning.

How small are your schools? Putting an entire senior class on a (presumably) 10-night cruise would be nuts, especially if the class size is >350 seniors on a ship that holds ~2500. Most lines don't allow minors to travel by themselves, and some won't let those under 21 do so either, so there would have to be parents involved, pushing the number into the 450 range.
