Seniors, how will you make the next 5 1/2 months fly by?

I have no idea I will just continue doing what I'm doing but with a more positive attitude because I always have like a negative/pessimistic attitude and I guess time will fly faster when I'm more positive? I dunno but its hard because school sucks and my classes suck. UGH! I cant wait til june..

I'm not even thinking about that until the end of exams in two and a half weeks. Can't wait :)

make em fly by HAVING FUN. once you're done wiht ur 1st semester / trimester exams, send in your midyears, and stop caring too much. if ur an A average student, drop to a B to A- average 2nd semester. colleges won't rescind a admissions for Bs, will they? if school is boring (as it prolly is) take a book to school, and read it instead of listenin 2 the teacher. make sure u sit near the back though :)

i only have 4 months and 21 days left! my suggestion, keep yourself busy. this quarter i have so much stuff going on with mainstage musical, state orchestra competition, model UN, quiz bowl, community orchestra, tutoring for NHS, it never ends! on top of that i procrastinated doing my online course, so catching up will really suck. but on the bright side, with so much going on, the year should fly by... hopefully. then a week after graduation, i'm going to ITALY!!! i'm so effing excited for the end of the school year.

I'm going to give up internet on weeknights, unless I finish homework early (heh...). 4 APs + Physics this semester....previously, the most APs I've ever had at once was 1.

a coma works nicely

I was thinking about the coma concept... well, my next few weeks should be very busy, whenever I go back to school, as I've been absent 20+ days so far this marking period, and have tons of makeup work to do before the semester is over. after that, I in theory should be studying for/practicing for all of the competitions coming up in feb-april. hopefully those will get my mind off admissions.

yeah, I just want to go to college already....I am tired of this high school BS

ghOst, that was funny

good attitude makes things a whoel lot better. Had a bad one a month or so ago and felt like crap. now feel better.

I agree u should just have fun and not careTOO mucha bout school.

The first half of Senior year was bad. I lost it a bit. Now I'm kind of getting back into the high school thing. I try to live in the present, look forward to college but still have fun now. It's hard to have fun in high school, though. Too much BS.

That's a tough as hell question, I'm incredibly excited to go to college so I've been trying to just keep myself busy to not think about it.
Time seems to fly so much faster when you have a lot of **** to do, if you cant find anything else to do you can just go on CC 24/7, that should make time fly by

aa i still have to take midterms at the end of the month :(, ill be glad when they are over! ill be busy cheerleading, studying, and trying to prep for ap chem and eng (if i have ne time). im not stressing 2bad, i just want to try to keep A's up til 4th marking period where if i have the guts i might slack off.

The classes I'm taking are just too damn hard. I do have Physiology next semester which will be mostly coloring worksheets, so that's good. But AP Calc/Phys requires daily work. Sophomores and Juniors, you should realize that Senior year isn't exactly blow-off year. It's maybe just as tough as Junior year was, except without the SAT testing.

Ditch class and go smoke weed with your buds.
At least, that's what I do.

starman, tell me about your cloud nine. whats it like?

mm, you feel your cells on fire!! It's great.

But I don't overdo it, it scares me.

starman's method is mine as well.

I worked ALL day today. You work half the day in school, come home, and work the other half at home. It's ridiculous. After next week's finals, it should simmer down.

just make sure your grades dont slip, their have been many reports of colleges getting final transcpits and not admitted some students in the fall becuase their grades slip, dont worry the payoff will come soon....

I can't wait until may, after all my AP exams and none of my AP classes meet anymore. Then I can just hang out in the senior lounge, watch tv, and plan my summer. But until then, I am going to grumble and not do any more work than necessary.
