seniors please help....gap of more than a year frustrates :(

hey guys, i'm new for this site.....i completed my highschool in 2011 and i prepared for the SAT....due to lack of proper ideas i took these things bit lightly so now here i am with compostie score of 1040 in SAT n wondering how much will i get in TOEFL...on the other hand my english is not that good and i have a highschool aggregate percentage of 64.8 . actually i'm capable of higher score but due to some health probs i missed more than half of the classes during the highschool....right now i'm not that confident to get prepared for the SATII either.....frankly saying, i've almost forgotten more than 60% of what i studied.....i'm really very confused at this moment......going through the previous threads i knew how important satII was and i got so much influenced by the seniors so now i've thought to restart my US colleges journey by preparing for SATII and SATI .....so my question for the seniors is that if i start preparing for subject tests math1and2 and physics and SAT1 both from the base level will a year be enough for me to obtain a better score if i gave these tests on oct. , nov . 2012??or what do i need to do?? please guys i'm expecting some serious suggestions from the seniors out here

After joining PEA ( if u happen to know what that is) and taking classes for more than a month and not being satisfied, i changed my course towards abroad studies. I started from scratch and managed to score 2120 (superscoring my two attempts, not to lie) in SAT I and 2250 in SAT II (P, M1, M2) in about 4-5 months. U’re talking about a year? U’ve got a plenty of time there. But remember, longer time doesnt give u high score. Its ur effort u put into gives u high score. So work hard, and just like the English and Nepali cliches say, it pays off.

Btw phsyics, maths1 and maths 2 is a terrible option. Believe me, coz thats what i took my tests on. Rather go with physics, chem and maths 2.

Also, to be honest, ur high school GPA is really low. So only SATs and essay could be your weapon here.

So yeah, work hard.

trinitian.

Did you get into trinity in ED.

^ and ^^ I think ‘trinitian’ is studying at Lehigh. Isn’t it, trinitian?

^^ yup, i go to Lehigh.
