Seniors--what are you doing this summer?

I'm graduating this year, and I'm having a hard time finding summer programs (esp. in science) that accept recent high school grads. I'm thinking of contacting profs at a local university about working in their labs, but I doubt there's any funding involved. I'm trying to earn some money for college in the fall, and would much rather do something science-related than work at the mall, etc.

If anyone has experience working at their local university, doing research & whatnot, how did you go about contacting profs, and how was your experience?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Bump. Any internships still left? I know CCIS and SEAP deadlines are over.

i'm also thinking about working at a local university (science) or an international consulting company. only problem is that i'll be working with ppl older than me. sometimes i would like to work with ppl in my age range ya know? what do you guys think?

Working... alot.

work...................

I'm looking for something to do, too. :(

I'm thinking of interning at a local law firm, but I also want money... heh.

Work... I'm done with high school in early May, so I'll get a job then and stick with it until I have to leave for college.
