Seniors!!! What Will U Be Doing Over Summer

I'll go back to china to see family that I havent seen for 6 years. After I get started in college, this whole getting into med school thing is likely to eat up all my summers with internships and volunteer work. So why not take advantage of this last free summer?

I am going to get really drunk and really high, and work to make some money.

newedition what school u going to?

getting a job and just have a normal summer for once, lol

squarehead

I'm going back to my home country too. My grandparents are really excited about the fact that I got into American universities, so I must pay them a visit. Maybe I could get a job as an English tutor...

The only problem is, since English is not my native language, I'll forget it if I spend a few weeks in a non-English environment. Besides it'll be very hard for me to come back, leaving the land and the food that I love so much.

Vegging by the pool for a month, then taking a short trip up to Northern Wisconsin/Michigan and Isle Royale. Then leaving for China for two weeks, returning just in time for a gathering with extended family at my family's cabin in Northern Minnesota. The last month or so will be spent getting ready for COLLEGE!!! Oh, and, in order to reward myself for all the other summers I have spent actually being productive, I will NOT be studying for the MCATS...

sleeping, poker, badminton, hanging out with my friends,oh yeah, getting wendy's EVERY day.

iono bang a chick every day?

Road trip out west with my friend who's going to West Point (which he's paying for gas and driving since all the money he saved for college he doesn't need anymore... score!), then to upstate NY with my best friend to see her family. Then I have about a month of nothing. Then my mom's taking me to Disney for a week. Then we're home for 2 days and she's taking me up to Boston a week and a half before orientation to visit family and get all my stuff.

Wee.

I really wish I could get a job or internship, but I don't have a car so that rules that out.

Learning how to play beer pong? Yes.

Getting my alcohol tolerance up? Yes.

Smoking? Yes

Working? Maybe.

Preparing to have the most awesome time of my life at Dartmouth. ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY

I, too, will be getting a job. I have a part-time one now, but I need more money to pay the college tuition bill. College costs money, you know.

hopefully getting a job. outside of that, chillaxin' to the max.

Bahamas with my 2 best friends, taking 6 hours at local comm college to transfer to UT :), family trip, getting wasted constantly, and maybe a road trip to San Antonio or Houston to see Kelly Clarkson

i got an internship at a local San Francisco law firm. woot! helping w/ corporate projects. my mock trial coach is pulling out a contract i signed though promising to "party" for a month in a half. don't know how i'll get around that but I'll find a way.

i'll be going to italy for 2.5 weeks, working, and rock climbing. woot. and hopefully i'll be getting my sky dive certification.

Wow, even with 2 doctor parents and 2 doctor brothers, Ive never ever heard of prepping for premed before college even started. thats just way too obsessive.

Ill also likely be spending my last summer in NYC and exploring Chicago, the nearest big city to Notre Dame.

Working at Barnes & Noble, chillaxin'. Okay senior year!

how much do you guys expect to be paid per hour at your summer jobs?

I work at the movie theatre, $6.50/hr. :(
