this is my first time peeking into this sub forum and I thought this would be the appropriate place to ask this:

Would getting up to two Cs in two different AP classes my senior year rescind my admission from the University of Florida?

I am likely to end the semester with a C in AP Macroeconomics and maybe a C+ or B- in AP Government (I started taking both these semester courses in January). The rest of my grades are a mix of As and Bs in regular, honors, and one other AP course. I am honestly not slaking off, but, In fact, I am really having trouble understanding these classes.

Is this grounds for UF to rescind my admission?

Are you taking AP Macroeconomics with FLVS? I am not a Florida resident, although I just finished up AP Macroeconomics on FLVS with an A-. I would be more than willing to offer some tips on the course that might help you understand it better.

But to directly answer your question, I highly doubt those grades are grounds for rescinding you.

thanks a lot, now i feel like I wont be loosing any more sleep on the matter.

Sligh_Anarchist: I am an FL resident and I am taking it at my school. The year kinda is over since we are using this time leading up to the AP exam to review both Micro and Macro. (Since Macro has some topics of Micro, such as Supply and Demand, he skipped over it and stated on some other topics) today i took my second cumulative test on fiscal and monetary policy, so we are pretty much done for the year. Which means I will be getting a C as a final grade in Macro (but I did get a B/B+ in Micro).

Overall I am having some trouble in all the topics. I mean I understand when he teaches them, but I guess things just aren’t “clicking” for me.
