<p>I’m not sure why you have blessed the Swat, Amherst, and William and Mary forums with these questions. On the slim chance that you are serious and not playing some kind of game, I second the comments already posted on the William and Mary site by Frazzled. My own recommendation: forget the college applications this year and look for a gap year opportunity that will give you some time to grow up, recalibrate your decision-making apparatus, and gain a new perspective on the world and your place in it. I would suggest a job that leaves you too exhausted after a day of hard work for beer pong or problematic Facebook postings.</p>
