<p>I’m not sure…I would avoid anything with graphic sex/violence. Avoid anything that makes you sound like a racist/sexist/bigot etc. Don’t write about anything you wouldn’t feel comfortable talking about face-to-face with the adcoms. </p>

<p>I would say, don’t talk about anything that you wouldn’t talk about to someone you’re having a conversation with. I think you can talk about religion to an extent. For instance, you can talk about how religion has shaped you as a person, but you would not want to bash other religions.</p>
