thanks

i've already sent my application as a regular... can i still send more stuff in, like the optional picture?

thanks

You could, but I wouldn't recommend it, if you want to get in, that is. If anything really significant occurs between now and April--or, better yet, between the time the Mid-year report is sent and April--I would send it in. The picture isn't that big of a deal anyway.

Also, I would hesitate to send in the picture since it would likely annoy the people in admissions, since you've already sent in the app. (Early bird, aren't you?)

thanks.. :)

How about if you have worked on your essay since you sent in the app? would that be ok to send in a revised version?

no, what are you thinking???

ivyboy, you can resend an entire application. Don't just send in one page though. send in the entire part 2 again, so they can just take the old one out.

hey i never know that you could re-send an entire app. cool.

i never KNEW. sorry. the way people critisize people for spelling stuff wrong and using improper grammer on this board scares me. i don't want to make enemies before i even go to the school

The Columbia elites and the grammar elites infest the boards. I'm one of the latter, so watch out... I wouldn't actually mention it, I would just silently disregard everything you said from that point forward.

;)

jk

Spell it criticize or face the punishment.

Yeah, you can send a part of the app again. I just resent my app part 2, but only because the original copy was also paper. I just attached an exlanatory letter. I'll go ahead and assume that its ok.

Columbia elites? What does that mean? Just because you are into Columbia through like ED doesn't make you better than RD people, but I am better than you bird because I capped you out. ;)

She could spell it criticise if she wanted to be British.

Yeah, and Brits are more elite than Columbians anyway. Or at least they sound like they are.

ahh ahh criticize okay okay. i'm a TERRIBLE speller...i knew i would spell something wrong correcting myself. i probably spelled something wrong now..lol

There is nothing wrong with not being about to spell. I personally can't spell worth a crap (ask bird, he knows), and I got into Columbia so don't let these people get you down. If nothing else there is always www.m-w.com.

Spelling is essentially a visual skill that's not connected with reading or writing talent. Don't let those dirty Brits get you down!

Are you trying to say that lilsmiley and I have vision problems?

It's all in your head.

Everyone is out to get me these days all cause I can't spell. We junky spellers have to stick together, lilsmiley. If we don't, the master spellers will get us and make us their slaves.

I wish the 'CC message box' had a spell checker. Anyways. Yeah, you can send your entire app part 2, just add a letter telling them to replace your older version. But don't send just one page, that could be a big hassle for them.
