A couple months ago, like early February, I sent UC Berkeley some updated information about my application (some awards I didn’t include, changed senior courses) and they sent me a confirmation email that they received it, and they would take 5-8 business days to send me a response, but they never did. Did they never read it or something?
Maybe, you need to contact admission office to be sure.
No, don’t contact them. You didn’t ask them a question, so there was no need for any further communication. They confirmed receipt and put the materials in your file. You’ll get their “response” when you receive your decision.
I think the OP said that UCB will send him an email of response in 5 or 8 business days. The confirmation email said that they did receive your materials, but he could ask if they have processed the info.
It’s been a month and a half - of course they’ve “processed” the info. They put it in his/her file!
Well, it doesn’t hurt to ask IMO. but yeah, they should have read it.
