A poetic form congenial to Robert Browning was the dramatic ( monologue, it let him explore a ) character's mind without the implications demanded by stage productions.

a. monologue, it let him explore
b. monologue, which let him explore
c. monologue that lets him explore
d.monologue : letting him explore
e. monologue by letting him do exploration of

i solved it (c) but the right answer is (B) but how is it (b) as i think that (b) creates another problem which is (sub-verb disagreement ) because of let which subject is monologue

intimacy, love ,and marriage are three ( different , if interrelated subjects )
B) interrelated subjects, being, however, different.
C) different subjects, whereas they are interrelated (this is the one I picked)
D) different subjects when interrelated
E) subjects that are different although being interrelated

the answer is ( A ) but can any one explain it for me ?

iam preparing for october but i always make 5 wrong in the first section and 2 in the other one ?? is my performance good or bad ? how can i improve it ? :D

1) Intuitively, I could tell that it was B. However, another thing wrong with C is that the verb “lets” is in the present tense while the verbs used in the rest of the sentence are past tense.

2) The sentence is correct as is (though I would put a comma after “interrelated”). All other forms are awkwardly formed. In these cases, it’s faster to “use your ears” to analyze the answer.

1) (b) does NOT create a subject-verb disagreement. “Let” is past tense, not plural present tense, and 93tiger16 is right about the solution.

2) (c) is wrong because “whereas” requires a semicolon (it’s not FANBOYS). (d) “when” is a time reference, and the sentence is not about a time-dependent condition. (e) includes “being” and violates parallelism (“are” is not parallel with “being”).
