<p>I got accepted for the summer sales and trading program. This is a time line of the process.
I applied early, did my phone interview 10/18/07, my actual interview 11/10/07 in NY, and got my decision 12/17/07.
I am a sophomore and I have no experience working in the financial field. I won’t know what partner firm I will work for until the spring, but I am going to do online training. Good luck applying.</p>
<p>^correction, I got accepted 12/10/07, they said I had 14 days to accept the offer, and I accepted on 12/17/07. My room mate is applying for Investment banking also, he is going to interview in Atlanta but has not scheduled an interview date.</p>
<p>Megafire, how did they notify. And if they notified you by phone, did they also send you an email? I’m waiting for a response but am not currently in the US and dont have my phone thats why I ask.</p>

<p>I got a phone call from SEO that I was accepted, they said I would soon get an e-mail.</p>
<p>I did my interview on a Saturday, which was weird for sales and trading because I anticipated a question about the current state of the market on a weekday.</p>

<p>I only had my first interview for IT and I received a notification that I am been waitlisted.</p>
<p>If I report to SEO that I already have an offer from a partner firm, am I not screwing up my chances of getting accepted into SEO? Why waste 2 spots on one person when they can give the SEO spot to another person?</p>
<p>Hey Justin, Shuava, Superman and the rest of you who are still waiting on SEO. I am stuck in the exact same situation. I was interviewed in Houston on December 18th and I have neither received a call or email and I checked where epiper checked online and it just says application status: submitted.</p>
<p>I have been reading all of your posts and I agree with Justin on the rolling admissions process. One of the SEO alumni in my school told me to not count myself out just yet, because it all depends on how I compare to the pool of applicants that come after me. </p>
<p>I think this is why they say it is much harder to get in after the first round of applications, because this means that you have to be much better than someone they have on the wait pile. </p>
<p>To those who are impatiently waiting too, how did your interviews go? mine was intense, failed miserably in some, excelled in others so I really have no clue what they thought of me. Thanks for your replies!</p>

<p>Q: I registered and received an early phone screen and interview and have not heard from the Admissions Committee?</p>
<p>A: Some students will know soon after their interview if they are accepted to the program, however, not all students will receive an immediate response of Yes or No. You will be notified that you are on a Waitlist. This is not meant as a positive or negative with regards to your application. We accept students on-going until mid-May even though you may have had an early interview.</p>
<p>I guess this still gives us hope? I just can’t imagine 5 more months of torture though…</p>
<p>I think if you don’t recieve an acceptance phone call by mid Jan, you are either waitlisted or denied</p>
