<p>Shuava, I interviewed at Houston Corp Fin. on December 18th. I’ve talked to some Houston people and they still haven’t had a reply either so I’m not sure…are you corp fin too?</p>

<p>No I haven’t…just that after you submit your acceptance. their is a 2 sentence response that says something around the lines of “Thanks for accepting one of our recuirters will be calling you”</p>
<p>And I was just what to see what that call entailed if it had started yet for some people!</p>
<p>Maybe someone can confirm this if they are offically accepting online for the FIRST time the offer and right after you submit OK where the conditions are you get this two sentence message.</p>

<p>I was just wondering what happens in this call, I would imagine it would be soon. I would like to stress their was no discussion with SEO about ranking options. The rankings where just my way of adding more conversation to this thread</p>
<p>To kingkong…Well someone has to be last, don’t get me wrong this list includes the Best and Better Ibanks and someone had to be last. As for my personal preference, Lazard would be to small of a shop to work for. I m still trying to figure out what within IBanking I want to do some my options would be more limited than the others. The others also carry a bit more of a brand name. Overall I m looking for a BB not a Boutique. I would also understand why other people would have them on the top of their list. What would your list look like? Lazard top 5???</p>

<p>I got both an email and a Call, the email stated that the decision was available online. I logged into my SEO application and there was a link which then took me to the acceptance letter. </p>
<p>HarvtoWall: I agree with your argument regarding your preference for BB and not boutique. I like Lazard as I know some people that work there and they tell me the culture inside the bank is awesome. The prestige Lazard has and the fact that it is really competitive to get in is something really appealing to me. This would be my Top Five, my ranking is based on what i’ve heard from people that are currently working and know what the deal is inside these banks. You also have to take into consideration in your rankings the fact that some banks are not doing really well and there might be future layoffs and less full time opportunities after the internship. </p>

I know that the follow up phone interview results have gotten sent to SEO in NY a few weeks ago. Why are they taking so long for a decision? Does anyone know anyone who got accepted to the IB position in HK? Thanks.</p>

<p>Idk shuava. I’m still waiting. I applied for individual firms as well, but I’m a sophomore so I applied to sophomore programs, etc. so yeah. god, i just keep waiting for a call.. or an email.. something…</p>
