<p>I wouldn’t give up hope on the 16/15. I would wait until the 25th, My offer has deadline of the 22nd and it will take some time to revaluate how many slots are still open and resend offers.</p>

<p>Well the main reason not to do SEO is that I do not feel comfortable not being able to pick the company specifically the culture which I feel the best connection with. (aka what if I get Lazard?? Ah! lol) Second, I’m still unsure with the placement in the firm SEO deems the best fit, exactly where would I go in Corporate Finance? I rather get to know the specific people and group I would be working with. Lastly, No offense to anyone doing the program but some people on the street see SEO as a “backdoor.”</p>
<p>The only reason I m still considering SEO is that I am assured to do something? somewhere? on the street and now I can forget about the 100+interviews I would do and cover letters.</p>
<p>I agree with you HarvtoWall. I was truly worried about not getting in SEO and I went to a company field trip last week and meet a few Goldman and Merrill recruiters in NY who gave me their info and just made me rethink not being able to choose what company bc I am really interested in Goldman.</p>

<p>Seems like I have to join the waiting club too, I applied on dec 15 interviewed on dec 20 and have not received a decision yet so I have been corresponding by email with the director–very useful technique at least now i know for sure they have not yet decided–dunno what outcome will be—</p>
<p>any idea why it’s taken so long to get to my app (I applied on Oct.29th) and got an email for phone interview in December but my 1st round phone interview is next week monday! So many ppl have gotten offers already.</p>

<p>has anyone had their phone-interview? I had mine today and it only lasted like 5 minutes. He only asked about 3 questions and I had pretty good replies, so I’m wondering why it was so short (i know they were good answers because the interviewer said so).</p>
