<p>I’m supposed to hear back this week or the next one. I have already applied to numerous internship positions as a safety. A MSF will probably be what I will do if I don’t land a full time offer.</p>

<p>SEO never got back to me. I assume I didn’t get it. It was directly through BAML. I’ll see if I can combine offers with SEO though, that might still be an option.</p>

<p>No. I wasn’t even given a third-round. Only got up to the in-person step. Does anyone have any insight on whether I should combine offers with SEO? Is it there any other advantages to doing SEO besides getting the internship?</p>

<p>Great questions. It’s something I need to think more about because I
think it will come up at the classes quite a bit.
Personally, I got started by getting to know the local web developers
and it grew from there. But I wonder if that is how I would do it
again if I was to start over.
I’d like to hear what the others think. Anyone? </p>

<p>gertyw, this is about the seo career program. internships at fortune 500 companies and wall street. We are not talking about search engine optimization.</p>

<p>As one of the students accepted to this years program, this is my advise to all you out there waiting to hear back from SEO:

  1. There are different people in charge of every division you applied. Although two applicants are applying to the Investment Banking program, they might be applying for different positions (say Asset Management and Sales & Trading). Therefore, the time each of them will hear back from SEO will vary. Whether you get in or not, do not base that on things you hear from others.
  2. Always keep your options open. Getting SEO is AMAZING (so I’ve heard and looking forward to it) but that should not bring you down if you dont get it. After, there are SEO rejects who got offers directly from the partner companies (the “hard” way i presume)</p>

<p>I randomly looked at my application on line and under the decision status it states, “We are still reviewing your candidacy and will make a decision soon…”</p>

<p>I am not sure what that means for me. Hopefully, this is the week we will all hear.</p>
