I received the same notification today. Did any one get rejected, or accepted to the program just yet? I don’t know what to make of this email!

what programs did you guys apply to?
I applied to IB

hey mapr89 I just had a third interview over skype for IB. They may have sent that because they’ll be out of the office for the next couple weeks and dont want you to panic. During my interview today the manager oveer IB program told me that they were going to be out of the town so not to worry. I could be wrong but its a possibility.

Um so the direcctor just called me back! my last interview was less than a couple hours ago! she told me that I GOT THE POSITION!!! Praise GOD!! YAAAY!!

Hello everyone, I participated in the S&T Assessment Day in NYC on December 14. I still have not heard back yet. I will update as soon as I get a decision from SEO. I’m not sure if any of the other people for S&T have got offers yet.

I had the 2nd round interview (in person) last month for IB but have yet to hear back from them. I got the generic letter posted online about how they are still making decisions for the third and final round.

im also waiting, almost everyone is told in january!

Wow you guys are on top of your stuff! I just found out about this program about a week ago and just submitted my application haha.

Question about in-person interviews: It seems weird because not everyone would be able to do an in-person interview given their location, less they fly out to SEO?

For those of you who have gotten in-person interviews, who did you get your recommendation from? I’ve mostly taken introductory classes so don’t know my professors at all.

I got my recommendation from my intermediate II accounting professor. You can get it from an SEO alumni, past boss or professor.

does anyone know if anyone one else has gotten in yet? Next step is finding housing and I figured it’d be a good Idea to room with another SEO intern especially given that I’ve never been to New York. If anyone knows good places that have good deals and other people that got in please message me. SEO sent me a list of good resources for housing so i’ll be going through that.

@bromero916: Congratulations!! Can you share you interview experience… things like where did u do it and what questions they asked u in the follow-up interview.

I applied first round deadline for IB. I dunno about the rest of you but my in-person interview was kinda weird bc there were three people interviewing me. I am not expecting much since I did an average job. I had my IB in-person interview in early Dec. and I checked my decision status several weeks later and it said that they are still reviewing my application and have not made a final decision. Does that mean I’ve been waitlisted??

capeverde, we all have the same thing. i think we will know in the next couple of weeks

@capeverde Thanks so much! I’m so excited! Just cant wait to meet other interns that got in. But yea I got Investment Banking in the finance/accouting department. I had 3 interviews. my first one was over the phone in like November, 2nd one was on Dec 10th in San Francisco(I’m from California), and my 3rd one was the follow up and it was over skype with the IB director. During the follor up she just got clarification on some questions I had answered in the in-person. She went over why I had interest in the private vs public accounting, What partner firms I had applied for, and how I felt about going to New York. That was pretty much it-it was short and straight forward.

Bromero did u apply for investment banking or accounting?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using CC App

I applied for accounting in investment banking. So I’ll be in the private accounting department in investment banking

I think that’s the CFL program SEO also has. Not IB.

I’m not sure anyone has heard back about a final interview for the IB program yet.

last year i applied to cfl and i had a third round / follow up interview but a guy I know applied to IB and was accepted about a month ago. he only had one in person interview. cross your fingers,

Damn. That doesn’t sound too good for our chances. Only one interview? Must of been really qualified
