haha! gotcha! I wish~!

didn't see anything when I logged in apart from the usual page--- dpa are you bluffing? how come the rest of us didn't get anything posted?

i wish i were bluffing

aww...I really wish you were bluffing---seo sucks- I'm not checking my decision~!

is there anyone else expecting decisions today apart from dpa and I?

dang!

am I the only one who hasn't gotten their decision online yet?

well you got that extra "we'd like to move you forward" memo so maybe they are still considering youro app at this very moment =)

I dunno what's going on, but I'll really like to know what my decision is...I think I'm going to have a panic attack--- shud I call? all m y friends have gotten theirs

is there any chance they're holding their decisions on our apps for a while after this deadline, cuz i've heard of this guy who never got his decisions, ended up accepting offer from a small firm, and after that got offer from SEO.

man i'm startled everytime my phone rings today. arrrggggg i hate SEO ppl!!

yuki: can you please call and see what they say----

the lady on the fone probably hates me by now cos I bugged her a lot for most of last week concerning my transcript...

please call...

the number to call is:

Karla Morrison - (646)435-9585

It's not a college admission decision, its not their responsibility to inform you bby a certain date.

Just relax or you might come off as an obsessive person ...

OH MY GOD.
I just got waitlisted because I am a sophomore, but they said I was very strong applicant and they will know the final result by end of march.

I want this internship so bad, now I have to wait even longer. The tension is killing me.... :)

oh wow! there's a waitlist?

congrats! that's a big achievement for a sophomore!

njcs: did you just get your decision online now- if you did they send you an e-mail notification first?

They said they need more time to figure out how many companies would be willing to take sophomores.

oh wells, not much hope for me then...I'm a soph too

I got an email first saying that my status is now online.
March is such a long ways away. I will have to work on back up plans just in case. Has anybody heard of AIESEC. I am thinking of applying to it(I will make a new topic so post there if you know anything).

wat da hell there's a WAITLIST in existence???? so wat's da point of hving a deadline of 1/23??

i can't believe this.

Hmm... there's a waitlist? Maybe there's hope for me then. When I click on the decision link on the webpage just a blank page comes up.(with done at the bottom). I assumed that it just meant that I was rejected, because if I had been accepted there must have been several options. Maybe I got waitlisted too?

Hmm this puts me in an awkward position though. I got hired for a part time internship this semester at Standard&Poors, who extended an offer for summer internship. Now I am not exactly sure wha to do =(

When I click application status a letter in a pop up comes up explaining all the details. Maybe you should check your popup blocker

I don't have a pop-up blocker. My friend who is a sophomore got his decision letter already, already he is somewhat more qualified than I but never even got an interview. what the hell? He pasted the decision letter...

edit: he said he received an email, and read the decision letter as well online. i guess we are waiting for emails now.

Dear Big Fat Loser:

Thank you for applying to the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) Career Program. The Admission Committee received a record number of applications and inquiries from qualified candidates, such as you, for approximately 400 internship positions. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you an internship at this time.

As you may know, the SEO Career Program admits very few sophomores due to the limited number of internship positions available. We commend you for your initiative in looking for an internship as a sophomore and look forward to receiving your application next year. We trust that you will continue to build on your academic excellence, community service and industry knowledge.

Thank you once again for your interest in the SEO Career Program. We wish you continued success in your current and future endeavors.

Sincerely,
Haha good luck team
