no, you don't have to be a ny resident.

There is a part in the SEO career program application where they ask you to list your SAT scores. Is this a big factor in gaining admission?

Yea, I think it is because I just sent in my application for the first round process this year and listed my SAT Scores as a 1600. They contacted me to double check because they said on the phone they "wanted to make sure this was a verifiable score that would definitely help my chances." So I'm assuming if my score can be really influential, a low score can be really detrimental.

I guess they're using it as a test of mental faculties?

anyone get a call back for the first round?

i did. submitted my application 11/1/06 at 3AM though, so i made the first round cut. they emailed me a couple days ago to schedule a phone interview, which is strange since I live in NYC...

Yeah, I finished my in person interview last week. Apparently it went off really well from their standpoint (my regional rep told me). But for me, my brain throbbed from the 20 minute interrogation afterwards. =) Any questions, just pm.

if i am half white/half asian, am i considered a minority. I have always listed asian as my nationality

I would call...because they actually ask about your ethnicity in the interview and you don't wanna be "exposed"?

Hey guys,

I applied on November 1st as well, but I haven't heard back :-( Is that a bad sign? I applied for the Hong Kong I-Banking program since I can speak Chinese (and I thought that might improve my chances). Geez, I didn't know the interview process would be so grueling! From what I've heard, I have a feeling that I'm going to have an anxiety attack during the process!

Hmm, I only have a 3.28 GPA (because I was in Engineering instead of Business for my freshman year) but I got a 1580 on the SAT...
