separate application for northwestern scholarship?

<p>does northwestern have a separate application for scholarship? or if you apply normally are you automatically considered?</p>

<p>I tried going to look at their site but the scholarship link is dead for me :(</p>

<p>As far as I'm aware, the only "scholarships" that NU gives out are $2000 for National Merit Finalists and Scholars, and a limited number of awards for Bienen students (I don't know much about this, I think it's new). </p>

<p>All other aid at NU is need-based.</p>
