Update: Unfortunately the letter was not enough and the lady I spoke to on the phone today said the lease agreement I sent was no good because it was from 2011, but that is when we moved here so I don’t know why it would say 2015. Also, she said that I have to get something from the court saying that they are legally separated. This is all really stressing me out and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know any lawyers, and I really wish my parents decided to get legally separated just so this could all be so much easier.
