Separating Similar Activities

About my EC’s: My main EC is baseball, which i am most passionate about and have been involved in for four years in HS (as well as my whole life). On the common app, it lists 7 spots and since i have been involved in baseball in a variety of ways, will i need a different slot for every league/activity that I have participated in? Each of these leagues have been very time consuming, and required a lot out work and dedication, etc. If i do it that way, it will look like it does below. However, it will also take up 3 slots out of 7 EC’s, and I also have other important ec’s like volunteering and leadership positions in clubs.

JV Baseball: 9th, 10th…24 weeks per yr/16 hrs per week

Jr. American Legion Baseball 9th, 10th in summer…10 weeks per year/15 hours per week

Varsity Baseball 11th, 12th…28 weeks per year/20 hours per week

Many accomplishments in each. Baseball being my main activity in HS.

Does anyone have any advice on how to best organize these baseball activities or is the above the best way? Thanks

I would definitely combine JV and Varsity Baseball and just note that you played varsity junior and senior years. Average out the weeks and hrs per year, but specify the actual times somewhere else (i.e. for the common app, additional info)

thanks, any other suggestions. also, if i combine the jv and varsity baseball, should i select "Varsity Sport" from the drop down menu and jus indicate that 10th and 11th were spent at JV level and list all awards and accomplishments for both? Thakns
