hey didnt u guys think the sept ACT was unusually hard or not? Because I thought it was harder than the one in June, especially the math and the reading was a tad lengthy.

cudn’t agree with you more
test was great except math and hot and hov

i’d add that d*** chem part on last sec. of sci.

im not sure if act still bases curves on raw scores or if its predetermined (they never get it right), but i predict a -4/-5 on math will be 34 (hardest act math section ive seen) and -1 will be 35 for reading

yeah everybody keeps talking about that chem part .. haha I DON’T EVEN remember getting to the part .. ill start packing for community college now .. not that that’s bad or anything

which chem part?
i actually thot science was pretty straightforward
are yu guys talking about the 3 students theories?

if they are then i guess on them i think haha

i noticed there was no fighting scientists O.o and the act booklet number was only 5 numbers, not 6 >.<

the chem part was ok
i believe one of the questions was a picture of a student’s theory
and it was the MGS jigsaw that went into the puzzle…?

the last ? took some serious thought LOL
i think answer was along the lines of
“slower because it requires more energy”
but i have no idea.

yeah that was a HUGE issue in our room cuz the proctor was moving sooo slow and was like just leave a blank then somebody asked if it should be at the beginning or the end .. then she just said leave a blank again not answering the question haha

mysteryluigi -> the 3 students WERE the fighting scientists! (in disguise)

hahah
in disguise xD
did you guys get something like
1 being the first bubble, 2 being the second bubble, etc
1,3,3,4,4,3
for the last 6 answers in the fighting scientists
i really cant remember the questions cuz i was rushing so badly

I screwed up Hella bad on math and science and my essay was bad too. I’m screwed.

am I the only person who thought the test was easier?

hmm.. usually I don’t have much time left over for reading and science yet I had a good 3 minutes to spare for both sections. Math was a bit harder, typically I finish in 30 minutes, but this time it took me 40. And English was just about right to how I expected it.

I thought that the math/science was harder than previous tests, altho reading and writing weren’t too bad.

science was ALOT harder. if we ended the test after the reading section, I woulda been happy with what I thought my score would be.

but that science owned me.

on june i got a 36 on science, im hoping for a 28 or something now
why so many circle questions for math?!

My calculator broke, one boy just gave up and canceled his test and one girl stated sobbing in the corner while still taking the test and kept going! Ahhhh-so stressful-I’m going to have to retake it! Oh and and Science section…sadness.

English- moderate
Math- easy
Reading- moderate
Science difficult

that last question on sci. i put it will be faster because less energy will be required. any thought?
