Hello All! I just took the ACT today and here are my thoughts; The english was average, as its difficulty does not change much. The math test was extremely easy, with very few "stumper" questions. The reading test, however, was absolutely brutal and the Science was surprisingly extremely easy. Did any one else have similar or different thoughts? What do you guess the curves are going to look like for this administration?

Agreed: english easy (but what was with the waiter/meals/hot/train car sentence?), writing was a lot worse than usually but wasn’t “brutal”, math was easy except for the sqrt(a^2+b^2)/ a+bi problem (post if you can explain that), and science was no problem but I usually make stupid mistakes

I can explain it, you multiply the conjugate, a-bi on top and on bottom. Are you a sophomore? Cause I learned this in Pre-Calc.

This was my first time taking the ACT, I barely prepared for it at all.
I thought it was ridiculously easy compared to the SATs (Taken it 3 times before)
The math section was definitely different though.
I didn’t find it hard though (:

Oh my gosh! I totally agree with rmenges1 lol
the english was super easy, math was just normal like always for me, and the reading was ridiculous!! I hate that section but I didn’t even finish it this time!! and then science was easy for once haha
I’m really nervous that the reading will bring me down a whole lot!!!

Wow…we must’ve had different tests then.

We do all get different test forms right?

For me:
English: decently easy (I hope haha)
Math: kinda easy…few hard questions
Reading: pretty easy actually…
Science: ridiculously hard this time. whats up with all the graphs and charts and so much reading, but none of those hey, what does scientist one and two agree on and stuff. I liked those =/
