^really? I am hoping for the english and reading curves to switch. I thought reading was hard as hell.

^Really? I used to be terrible at reading, but I kept seeing people on this website say that working backwards (from the science section to the prose fiction section) made it a lot easier, and it did. I think my reading will jump ten points…lol, and my science will fall ten points =/

I never do the last one, haha.

What do you people think -2 on reading will turn out to be? Any chance it’s still a 35?

Yeah, I did the # 4 first, then 2, then 3, then 1.

Im REALLY hoping for a math curve, I thought the section was harder than any of the practice tests I took. I thought English was easy tho, so i disagree with webass’ score guide of -5 = 33. Reading I think will be -1=36 because of ambiguity. Science was pretty standard.

Honestly, science will probably be -1 = 34, not to rain on anyone’s parade but to help them set realistic goals

In my worst case scenario, what do you all think -7 in science would be?

i think for science it will be -1=35 and then -2=33

i dont see why people are even curving math at all, it wasnt that hard. id say

math-0
science- +1
english- 0
reading- +1

though i really really hope english gets +1 too

I don’t believe English has ever gotten +1. :(

@russiaruns123 -7 is probably a 27-28

There is no way that english will get a +1, it just doesnt happen.

However, i think that -8 on math will be a 30 in one way or another. -4 + -5 is 32 and
-6 + -7 is 31?

Most reading sections gives -1 a 36

Science… optimistically -1=35, -2=34, -3=32
realistically -1=34, -2=33, -3=32

Alright, thanks. That’s what I thought as well…

32 in english, 36 in math, 32 in reading, and a 28 in science… I’m looking at a 32 composite worst case scenario I hope.

“I don’t believe english has ever gotten a +1” ???

How many tests have you looked at? I’ve seen an english where you can get 6 questions wrong for a 33… An official test.

^hey…can you clear your PM inbox. I neeeeed to PM you.

I have a question.

What was the one about the mesh bag in science?

and in math, what was the one about the 5 points and the geometric shape?

well, your questions have already been mostly answered in other threads, but the mesh bag was water and air and the geometric shape was a circle.

^not everyone agrees that the mesh bag was water and air.

@UVA: If you didn’t know what +1 means, it means you can get one wrong and still get a 36. Have you ever seen an official test like that? If so, from which month and year?

someone tell me how this curve thing work ? all the +1 and - 1 ?
