September 2010 ACT Scores

Results came today in the mail!

IBaker, are you serious?! if so, how were they?

lbaker - what state do you live in? And did you/your child take the writing portion?

Yep. Not as good as he had hoped for (31, was hoping to improve his previous 32 to a 33 or 34). The english section is always his downfall but he did get a 35 on the science. But for the record - he didn’t study as much as could have.

Tested in MN, no writing.

ours in Ohio arrived as well…didn’t take writing portion this time…but results aren’t online yet

Does this mean that all the non-writing ACTs are out?

@ddd: Scored as expected? If not, which section differed most from prediction?

@billabongboy9828 I took non-writing and my ACT score didn’t come it yet (I wish :P)

Does anyone’s status still say “registered”? Fffffffffffffffffff

changed to “tested” just this afternoon

Mine still says “registered”. I hope it changes 'cause every other time, I got everything right.

I got my ACT scores in the mail today but there not online yet.

^ Writing or non-writing? State? Post your scores (if you want to)?

Non-writing. Haha, I don’t think my scores are prestigious enough to post on this forum.

Just got my scores in the mail today, wasn’t expecting them at all.

No-writing, Michigan.

33 composite!! Way better than I thought I was gonna do :)

^ Would you mind posting your individual scores (EMRS) as well? It’ll help us determine what the curve was. Congrats on your score! :)

Thanks!

Sure,

English 33
Usage/Mechanics 18
Rhetorical Skills 16

Mathematics 32
Pre-Algebra 18
Algebra 15
Trig 15

Reading 34
Social/Science 17
Arts/Literature 18

Science 33

been lurking this thread for a while, it’s great to see some actual scores here though. Anyone know what this means for the curve?

Non-writing arrived by mail in my state today. I have yet to receive scores (w/writing) either online or by mail. I thought they would coordinate the release of the scores.

Hmm, I’m predicting these curves based on what we have so far (which isn’t much):
English: -2= 33 (unfortunately)
Math: Can’t really say without more scores. Most likely was a normal curve.
Reading: Same as above, but it looks like it was harsh…
Science: -2=33 (unfortunately)
