I figured I'd start this thread because I couldn't find one already made. It's illegal to talk specifically about questions on the test, but -

How did everyone think they did?

I thought math and English were easier than usual. I thought science was about average, but I thought reading was pretty difficult. I liked the writing prompt.

I was aiming for a 33 but it could be more like a 30-32.

English was the easiest IMO. Then math, reading and science. A few of them got me on science… In my test room there were kids talking outside during the reading portion. I was/am ticked off. I got a 31 last time… Hoping for anything above that. A 33 would be nice.

Edit: My essay was mediocre. I’m hoping for at least an 8 on it, but wouldn’t be surprised if I turned out a 7.

I almost ran out of time on the science, but luckily the last 6-7 questions were fairly straight-forward. But the rest of the test I thought was really easy. I had taken 2 Princeton Review practice tests to prepare (first time taking the ACT), and I thought the reading was much better on the actual test than on the review tests. I finished English with about 15-20 minutes to spare, was able to check over all my answers (a couple of them I had bubbled in incorrectly, so I’m glad I was able to go back and check over them…), and I finished Math with about 10 minutes left. Overall, I feel really confident about the test, and unless I made some really stupid mistake, I’m thinking I got a 35-36. Oh, and how long does it usually take for the scores to come out? I know the website says like 3-8 weeks, but do most scores come out the first day of the 3-8 week range?

E: -3-5 max, typically missed like 8 on practice test
M: probably -2 or 3, seemed a lot harder than the practice tests
R: -4 or -5, consistently missed 15 on practice test
S: test was a little weird but i think I only missed 2 or 3 if any.

So E:32/33, M:33/34, R:32+, S:31/32
I wanted like a 34+ composite but I doubt I got that this time.

I had trouble with two questions on the math section, which was disappointing because I was hoping for a perfect 36. I was low on time and had to guess on that one with a,b,c,x, and y as variable where we had to solve for y, and I had to guess on the last one because I ran out of time. For the sake of knowing if I guessed correctly, does anyone remember the letter answer to those questions?

We’re not allowed to talk about specific questions… The proctor made that clear. Just saying, if you sign your name to the piece of paper, you probably shouldn’t be so quick to go against that. I’ve been guilty of this in the past, too…

i think i pretty much aced the english section. math i had trouble with timing and had to guess on a few. reading was pretty good i guess. i didn’t feel it was that hard. science always gets me. i had to guess on around 5 or 6. i think my essay was alright, not anything spectacular.

@kellian idk the exact letter answer but the one with a,b,c,x, and y you had to combine the two and just subtract the systems. I think it ended up like 2b over c or 2c over b I can’t remember for sure

omgomgomgomgomg the science section was SOOOOOOOOO hard!!! and i never run out of time in reading but i was really pushing the boundary on this one!!! BUT OMG the english and math sections were the easiest things i had ever done in my life like i got a 36 on both no doubt!!! I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE FREAKING FLOWER COLORS!!!
