September 2011 ACT Discussion and Socres

It is imported

No, begun is past participle.

most ARE imported! most describes many things meaning that the verb is PLURAL!

I don’t think anyone is a moron for making a simple sign mistake. You’ll notice I had the correct decimal value.

It’s is imported.

When will the result’s post for today’s ACT test ?

Right, but it was “most” OF the corn…

The subject was the baby corn. Baby corn is imported.

I am elated to finally be done with this overpriced test.

That ****ed up question on science about like the guy in the car needing sunglasses. Do u guys remember if u said A?

I remember getting stuck on #24 on section 1. it was like,

Dr. Najil thinks that you should use her technique so that you can have a calm life (and after life there was either a semi colon, . And, .While or something… or idk…) …

Am I jogging anyones memory? I think I put B but I’m not exactly sure which answer that was haha…

It’s “is” because corn is collective, therefore it acts as a singular noun.

Most of the them ARE imported.

Expecting
-1 english
-1 math
-5 reading
-4 science. Predict please?

most can be either singular or plural depending on the context. if it said something ‘most people…’ then it’d be plural. but since it said ‘most of the corn…’ i think it’s singular.

also, i’m pretty sure 0 was the only one that worked for the x^2 + M = 0 one.

Most of the corn “are” imported vs. most of the corn “is” imported. It’s the latter.

Was Hitchcock a “young, unknown” director or “surprisingly creative”?

it’s “is” imported. in the paragraph right before, the first line states: some of the corn IS blah blah blah

was it of the “corn” or was it of “them”? if it was corn then i was wrong @!#$@!$@#!!!

young, unknown

for x^2 + M + 0, the answer is one, that being zero because any other number would give imaginary numbers and it specifically said 0 <= M <= 20, no i in there
