For some reason I think it was B, but I may be wrong.

Yes it was B

anyone remember answer to first question of overall test? lifeguards sit on “perches” right?

okay this last question on science that everyone’s debating:
was 30.1 answer choice G?

yes it was perches! anyone know the exact letter choice to the one about -x^5 f(f(x))???

thuglyfe you are correct!

@AnonymousStudent The that answer choice was E None; The domains are the same.

what was answer choice C then? (sorry im just trying to remember if i circled the wrong letter even tho i knew the question)

I dont remember exactly but impretty sure the first 3 were x>0 and that variation

i know i circled one with the same domains, i just hope i didnt circle one that said said same domains, x>0 if that was a choice b/c i know it was all real numbers, i was just RUSHING! if i get a 35 b/c of this im gonna be ****ed! (im hoping for two 36s on english and math and two 33s on reading and science for a 35 composite)

@Anonymous: It was fasho E (domains are the same). I think either D or C was the X>0 one you’re talking about.

The one about corn. rice, savoring blah blah blah OR rice savoring: blah blah blah. I put the former… thoughts?
lace, bobbins and something was… OR lace bobbins and something, was… I put the former.
Debating scientists was tricky! As was everything else on that dismal science test!

Did anyone write an essay espousing curfew laws? Because I did.

On the Navajo doctor one what was the word that wouldn’t belong (healing)

A) facilitates
B) raises
C) promotes
D) encourages

all answers you said were correct thuglyfe, fanatic16 the answer is raises

for the quiz score question, like they give you a table and then some names and quiz score, and they ask you the mean and median. I don’t get that question! I guessed on it, so what is the answer for this one?

yeah that one was strange… everyone on this thread (i read the whole thing b/c of my test score anxiety) thinks its Paulette (which was the first choice). I circled the last one. It really was just a matter of finding the median and mean and then calculating the difference for every choice. I’m sure I did it right–and I got E/K. But the people here are making me question my thought process.

hey guys… stupid question but for number 5 where you had the scale playhouse… you had to divide everything by 8 correct? Not multiply?
so your answer was something to the extent of 4, 7, 9???

did anybody get any ‘omit the underlined portion’ or no? I said there were no “omits”

i put paulette for the mean and median question. and @actstudent it was 4,7,9

@thuglyfe

An easy way to do that question is to realize that the mean is resistant whereas the median isn’t. Therefore, since the values for each student look about the same, find the student with the outlier - this is going to change his mean drastically (since there are merely 4 numbers). Student 1 had “2” as a number and thus is the correct answer.
