The glitch still works. I know of one person that took ACT with writing and was able to see their scores today. I still haven’t gotten mine though.

I agree with Ketann. In June, when my status was “Tested”, and I tried to use the glitch, it said something like unable to proceed with transaction; that meant that the test was scored, but the essay wasn’t. Since they are showing “Null” scores, I think they’re deliberately preventing us from seeing the scores early.

honeybee63 - it’s really not a big deal to load hundreds of thousands of records. In my job, I run jobs that load millions of records (up to 40+ million) in minutes. Also, it’s possible (imho probable) that the scores are loaded, but we just can’t see them. That’s not complicated to do either, in the tech world. I have no insider knowledge of their system, nor if we’ll be able to see the scores tomorrow, but know that loading hundreds of thousands of records isn’t a big deal…even if they use something as simple as Microsoft Access. If they use Oracle or SQL server, it’s even faster.

@Chrisoroth What state do you live in?

@triassiic: Florida, but said friend tested in Missouri

Chris are you 100% sure? Are you sure he’s not just screwing with you?

My daughter had registered standby (no writing) for the June test and hers said “registered” up until the day she was able to view her scores. (6/26 I believe.)

This time, it’s said “tested” pretty fairly quickly after taking the test.

Oh - and when we tried the glitch in June, we always got the “null” we are seeing now.

Yes, imnotanoob, they showed me a picture and everything. I just asked them to check again and now it’s null though, so it’s possible that it was only for a brief period of time? Otherwise, I’m not sure how it works. If anyone’s curious, they checked just before 1AM EST

Yay, it works for me now!

Wow. Maybe the ACT screwed up with their curve calculations and decided to redo it. Or they just don’t want us to utilize this trick anymore.

Either ways it is clear that they are doing it.

Iron, you could see your acore now? All of a sudden?

In any case, I still don’t have mine, and most people don’t.

Yea but it shows that score are being available via the glitch periodically., if what iron said is trur.

I almost don’t even want to know.

I haven’t gotten mine yet; mine has said tested since the beginning of the week

Sounds like they might be uploading scores, potentially? Nice!

Wouldn’t surprise me. I doubt they’d upload everyone’s score at midnight for a full official release… they’d be better off doing small groups to reduce the potential server strain.

I think the ACT people decided to get rid of the glitch because people were creating websites to check your score early. Those websites could be malicious so I guess they decided to end it before anything bad would happen.

Not really lol. If you’re getting the null page, the glitch is still functional – there is just no inputted data where your scores would normally be – hence the “null”.

What time in the morning should i check for scores if i live on the east coast?

Just check before you leave for school. It won’t change your life knowing at 1:00 or 6:00
