This is when we have another chance to change our classes. Does anyone happen to know if we are able to change them right at midnight or if its some random time in the morning?

If growl is working at midnight, then you should be able to change it then. If it’s down, then you have to wait til later… ): the time it comes back up varies… so =(

some people have had to be up till 5am

I signed up for physics…and they cancelled it =_=
the only other physics 40a class has 3 openings :x

I feel for you scotto3394. I am a senior and one of my fall classes was cancelled last month-after the continuing student make up registration date-now I have to wait for the make-up registration that is opened for all students on the 15th.

Ahhh Im just looking for better class times. By chance does anyone know what the name of the train or train line that is in riverside?

the metrolink either San Bernardino line, Rside line, or Line 91 from LA

OC-Rside line from OC and SD

Just going to post this but the date should have been changed to September 12th for all students and that september 8th is now only for new students, said so on one website with all the official dates. But just check growl to be sure.

Growl is always closed around midnight, so you probably won’t be able to change classes until like 7 or 8 in the morning or whenever growl opens back up.

scotto3394: which physics do you have to take? cause 40A is the physics for engineering and if you don’t have to take that one, I’d avoid it. Just a note of caution. :]

Well I’m a Math major and I plan to major in Applied Math with the Physics Option, so I was under the impression that Physics 40a would be better for me. Anyways, I enjoy physics ^_^

Also I’m an incoming student…but Growl doesn’t mention the previous September 8th date at all.

Thanks Jason! Train to LA on the weekends will be so much easier than driving.

Yup it changed yesterday to the 12th!

oh weekends there is only one the san bernandino line

Does friday count as a weekend?

scotto: oh okay. I know because you’re a math major you have to take a different physics, but if you’re thinking of an emphasis there might be a different physics. Or even look up the physics class that physics majors need to take (the basic class anyway). Best way to find out what is best for you though is to email your academic advisor about which is best. Just don’t want you to end up taking a class that later becomes pointless.

The growl is up and running for those who are waiting for it to be back up. =)

Fridays are weekdays so your good, i use to take that one, try to get the rside line, plus you see the famous river in riverside that people think does nt exist. The 91 is nice cause it takes you through the nice neighborhoods of rside but it takes longer

Lol that reminds me of the Los Angeles River

More like sewer >_>

Lol I thought the same thing right after thinking theres a river in riverside? So it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to get better class times, but people do change and drop classes after school starts right?

If it helps the field along the path from Pentland to campus turns into a river during the rainy season

watch for classes the day after tuition is due because people are dropped for forgetting to pay. and you have 2 weeks, I think it’s 2, to change classes and such after classes have begun.
