English: Easy
Math: Way harder than the red book
Reading: Medium-Hard
Science: Medium

Doesn’t CollegeBoard determine the SAT curve after the test is given? If so, is it the same for the ACT?

This is my second time, so basing it on the last time I took it (April):
English - Easy. Lots of parallelism.
Math - Not “harder”, just more intensive. Last portion of problems more time consuming/less straight forward. (Then again, math is what brought my composite down last time, so hopefully there’s a generous curve).
Reading - Average. Not particularly difficult, many answers directly quoted in text.
Science - Harder than average, more “wordy”. A few problems I think were out of place. Hopefully also a generous curve here.

I also had 72D.

English: meh, different from the red book sort of,
Math: it was the same old, didn’t mind it
Reading: kind of sucked, didn’t get to finish my last passage
Science: surprisingly easy? I actually had extra 5 mins to check my work

Can you guys get in trouble for letting people talk about the ACT on your site? And what is the problem with linking in a google doc?

I am trying to keep YOU guys out of trouble!

Is reddit acceptable?

No, reddit is not allowed, either.

I personally can’t understand why anyone would want to know the answers. It makes me feel uncomfortable knowing what I got right and wrong, especially since it doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Trying to guess how you did can just end up making you anxious for no reason.

Not to mention the fact that everyone thinks they’re right, but a lot of people are going to be wrong. You don’t know if someone else’s opinion on an answer is actually correct or not. All you get is a load more anxiety.
@MaineLonghorn thanks for your efforts in trying to keep everyone out of trouble! It would be devastating to cancel scores due to ignorance.

I took the June ACT. In terms of comparison, I thought that this one had an easier English section, harder Math section, and similar Reading and Science sections.

na, they dont do it in random order. they always do prose fiction, then social science, then humanities, then the natural scientific one last.

First actual ACT test I took. Got a 34 on my practice ACT, think that one was from 2010ish, hopefully I duplicated those results. Here’s how I felt:

English: Relatively easy to me, finished with plenty of time to check and such although this is my worst subject so it could be false confidence.
Math: Harder than the Red Book time wise but not content wise. Only had to sort of guess on one of the 60 so I feel pretty good about this one.
Reading: Easy-Medium. Had a few questions that took some reviewing but nothing too serious, all answered with time to spare.
Science: Actually one of the easier science sections I have seen, more straight forward in my brain for some reason, easily finished with time left.

All in all, just crossing my fingers. Can say without a doubt though I like the ACT more than the SAT.

I thought
English: easier considering I finished this time
Math: Sooooo hard for me. I guessed on maybe 10
Reading: Hard, didn’t finish last passage
Science: moderate, still guessed on a lot towards the end
I expect a 26 but maybe the English will help offset the rest. Not a happy camper.

IMO math was more difficult this time around.

Usually score high 30s for math but this one was tricky… Science and reading are my weak points but maybe I improved. Hoping for a 35.
