September ACT math and reading sections (curve)

My scores aren't up yet, but to those of you who do have your scores...

how many would -4 be on the math section this time? (i think that's how many i missed).

How many is -2 on Reading?

Thanks, and I appreciate any responses, as I don't know when my scores will be up, and I need to decide if I have to reschedule my flight on the 25th in order to take the ACT!!!

-4 on Math? Probably 35, maybe 34.

Reading might be like a 34 for -2, possibly 33 because some of the passages(especially social and natural science) were really easy.

ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS??!??! that would be SOOOOO awesome....because I was expecting it would be like a 31 or 32 for math and a 32 for reading.....maybe i did better than i thought! I guess I'll have to wait and see....

could you get a 36 and still miss a problem on math?

Definitely. But wait, are you talking about getting a 36 composite and missing 1 math question or a 36 on math and miss one question? Both can happen. I think this one was miss 2 and get a 36. I got a 35, I'll say I missed around 3 or 4. Still can't believe I let English and Reading drop a little.

You can get a 36 if you get 36,36,36,34 or 35,35,36,36 subscores. Careful for science though, one wrong and you could get a 34 depending on the curve. That's why it's so difficult to get a 36, and normally people who do well on this get 33s and 34s.

dude i missed 2 for sho and got a 36 dont worry

same here 36 on math missed at least 1

Seriously? For my CD it said -1 Math = 34.

Look at when it was posted…genius :p

especially when the title says September

^^No because the next administered ACT is in September…

It doesn’t matter, guys. Let’s stop bumping old threads.

my point was someone wouldn’t be able to predict the curve for a future test
