This was my first ACT and I'm not sure if it was me, but the math on this month's ACT was much harder than anything I've ever taken on a practice test.

I'm a decent math student and I was able to score in the mid 30's on PR 1296/ Red Book tests. I'm usually able to blaze through the first 40 questions no problem, but this time around, after the first 20 or so, the difficulty got noticeable harder.

Did anyone else notice the same? Or was the math relatively the same from prior tests?

i’ve taken upwards of 6 practice tests, and 1 real test, and in my experience this was the easiest math yet. The “hard” questions were somewhat in the middle and a few at the end, so i guess it was spread out as compared to past tests that were all at the end. I felt very confident, along with my many of my friends, so i would just practice more and you’ll see improvement.

The questions towards the end definitely got harder but it was relatively easy and straightforward to solve them. Like for the inequality one, you just choose points in the shaded area to confirm the validity.

The math section from September 10th was the easiest math ACT I’ve ever taken. I only encountered around 4 “somewhat difficult” problems, which I found to be located in the middle and not at the end of the test.

I think the curve will be generous. In my opinion, the ACT math for september was definitely harder than the ACT math for the April test. The curve for the math that exam is (for n number of questions wrong beginning with n=0) 36 35 34 34 33 32 31 30 30. So it’s definitely possible -1 is going to be 36 or -1 and -2 are 35.

I thought the math section was SUPER easy
after taking it, I thought I got them all right, perhaps a chance of 35-36
but a score of 33 or higher would not surprise me

but as usual, i probably made a silly mistake somewhere, and probably got like a 31 or something >_>
