OMG THE MATH SECTION
am I the only one who thought so?
well, it wasnt that hard as it was time consuming. I had 3 or 4 questions left at the end that I had to guess on =/
but for the other sections, I literally thought that I aced them. The reading and science sections were easier than I had ever seen them, and the english section, was, as usual, incredibly elementary
oh, and patricklin27 the answer was a lot - alot isnt a word

londonx105, every ACT test is curved to 'standardize' the tests. One test might allow you to get one wrong and still get a 36 subscore, while others might require perfect answers for a 36 subscore. This accounts for the difficulty of the test. Generally, the easier the ACT, the harsher the curve; the harder the ACT, the more lenient the curve.

The curves are decided based on the raw scores of the test takers. After analyzing all the tests, they set the ACT curve to determine what is fair.

OK thanks so much!
I think I go 30+ on Math & English..
Reading..28+ hopefully...easy but kinda got distracted.
also science i sorta bombed..1/2 1/2...either knew a question or didnt...can i still get a 30+ composite???

I also put 108 degrees...i almost f'd that one up too. i couldn't read my handwriting and used 300 instead of 360..thank god i double checked it

oh yeah i have to thank my iPhone for the 'a lot' problem everytime i put alot in a text, it wouldn't pop up

Thank you apple!

bleh that math section omg....

i know i got 30+ in the other sections but the math :C

ive gotten 3 29s b4 this ACT i cant afford another 29 CUZ OF FREAKING MATH

never had a problem on ACT math either that section was a curve ball. im praying right now that the curve was nice on the math section :C

does anyone remember the reading question where it asked how the 11th paragraph was different than the 12th and then all the answer choices were time periods? what did u guys get for that?

was it like 2002 and why they put that date?

Barrack, what question are you talking about? Which passage? I answered every question and didn't really guess, hope I didn't happen to miss one.

no but what did u get for that?

im talking about the reading question on the passage where the brother doesnt like gossip...there was that question about what time does the 12th paragraph take place or something

um itwas that te 11th paragraph was one evening and the 12th para was over a course of several years

hmmm i wanna say i put a period of several years in the past...does that sound right?

also was it one evening or one afternoon?

I think I put one afternoon... another option was one evening? uh oh. lol

And the answer was a few years in the past. Definitely. Choice A I think.

English: Easy...thinking somewhere around 31-33

Reading: omfg....so much easier than usual THANK YOU ACT 34

Math: omfg *** ACT I hate you!!!!! I don't even want to predict how this will bring down my composite

Science: I actually thought it was as easy as Reading, probably bc of some apbio crossover terms. 33

but my essay definitely came out a bit strange.

i said one evening
wait
i feel like those were two different questions though....

Questions:
1) 7up and doctor pepper = 10mg/250ml per?
2) The venn diagram one, with fb, bb, tf. What was the answer?
3) paino reading, what was the author purpose in saying the "why would I go into the store"
4) what were the 3 rose question answers.
5) science, what was the star questions along the cental line, was it star T?

barrack yes thats the correct answer...
and sorry i confsed u guys..it was aftenoon..but u get the point..basically one day.

omg that rose bush question set was hard..it sucked i had nearly verytrhing else in math BUT those questions.

7 Up was 10mg/250ml, I think. That is what I put.
The venn diagram one was 55....if memory serves me right, not sure though.
He would go into the store.... I dno't remember why exactly -- some options and I will remember.
Rose bush.... the consensus seems to be 27 (yay)
I did get star T for one answer, not sure which though.

no i think it was why Luc worked there... or something like he wanted to work with 53 pianos... i dont remember really.

and what did you put as Luc's opinion? Mozart?
