September > June/July

ACK! I just realized that September orientations are actually BETTER than having June/July orientations! What the heezy. And here I was, thinking that earlier orientation = better.

June-July Orientations - With the help of a Muir Academic Advisor and a student Orientation Leader you will receive recommendations for your fall quarter classes and learn how to plan your studies for future quarters. Course enrollment for fall quarter will take place from the convenience of your home, library or school computer from August 22nd to 25th.

September Orientation - Freshmen who elect to attend Orientation in September will have the benefit of our best academic advising via email correspondence and will enroll in their fall quarter courses from the convenience of their home, library or school computer from August 16th to the 19th.

And plus, they get to move in early.
:(!! Is there a way I can... re-go to an orientation? Rawr.

This makes me upset.

Anyways, anyone know how to get in contact with those academic advising counselors? Virtual academic advising doesn't work for us ickle incoming freshies and our orientation site doesn't let us do e-advising yet. And I can't exactly drive down to campus because I'm out of country, in Korea. -_-

Is that for every college's student who has their orientation in September or just for Muir September students?

Hah! If true, we all just got collectively owned.

I can't imagine there'd be many in the September Orientation groups for us to worry about though. There can't be that many OOSers......

Can there?

I know Vi's going to the September one.

She's the only one I know about :</p>

I don't think that is far at all. I know someone who lives in southern CA who was just too lazy to apply. When he did apply all the spots were full and he had to apply to the sept one. Now he gets priorty for classes. THATS NOT FAIR I SAY!

Sixth college only offers an orientation in September, so we sixthers are lucky.
