i think this is an organization specifically promoting these universities. anways, why should rankings force your decision, everyone knows that mcgill is a world class institution, has so much history and top professors in many fields. Also, your going ot be studying undergrad, where rankings does not have any meaning to your undergrad education. Trust me, I felt the same as most of the people in this forum before I came to mcgill, now I'm convinced that even though I'm having a blast here in mcgill, rankings should not be a factor is making your decision, instead, which university is more right for you.

PS. mcgill definately fits into a canadian ivy....look at a more respected rankings - macleans or the Times Education supplement of the UK, which rank McGill as the top university in Canada.

Ah, those poor institutions. In an attempt to get US attention they try to give themselves some identity they lack by cheap mimickry of an American concept... One might as well make a Rural Quebec Ivy league with UQAC, UQAR and UQAT. McGill doesn't need to resort to such a pathetic gimmick. Its reputation (deserved or not) is good enough to attract as many US students as it wants.

it appears to be pretty obvious that an independent person, perhaps one with a grudge against McGill, created this site-not the schools that are named within it.
