Serious help needed please!!

That’s great that you are already considering the financial side and won’t be in for a big surprise later. My daughter also wants to get away and experience something different and that’s a wonderful aspiration that I fully support. Part of education is trying new things and living in new places.

While your stats look really good, you should probably add a couple more safety/matches in addition to UICU, just in case. My research hasn’t tended in the direction of larger universities (daughter prefers LACs and smaller universities like Princeton/Brown) but maybe somebody else can chime in.

I am curious where you will end up. I’m sure it will be somewhere great. Best of luck!

Case Western Reserve in Cleveland Ohio is a great back up. It is free to apply (using common app) and requires no additional essay. They have a great premed and bioengineering program and they offer significant financial aid (but now sure if it meets need 100%). Plus it’s early action so you will have an option in your back pocket by mid December. They are nationally ranked #37 and their Graduate medical research is ranked #24.

@KathleenA I’ve wanted to go to school in Ohio and CWR sounds like a respectable college, definitely researching it! Thanks so much for the advice
