Serious Question: Harvard, Mit Vs. Hpme, Plme?

Is northwestern hpme and brown plme and their like much harder to get into than harvard, yale, etc.? Because I seriously think it is... Please reply!!! Thanks!

Umm... why isn't cc letting me capitalize anything I write, for example, they made MIT Mit......which sucks.....

Northwestern HPME is more difficult.

Bump...........

Bump!!!!!!!

bumP!!!!!!!!

It really depends. All of these programs are obviously extremely selective, and their admissions process can all be very subjective. BTW, you normally only bump something if it hasn't been answered for a longer time than an hour.

THese programs are very selective, but im not sure that they are harder than a Harvard med school for example.

az1698: I think that you misunderstand the OP's question. Northwestern's program & Brown's program are applied for straight out of high school; although medical school admission is assured, this application & admission process occurs three to four years prior to the normal timeframe for medical school admission. And yes, it is harder than getting admitted to the undergraduate programs at Yale & Harvard as almost all admittees to these programs were also accepted to one or more of HYPS and, typically, it is more.

bump..............

the plme acceptance rate is less than 5% and has a yield greater than 80%--so by those measures of selectivity, the answer is yes
