Serious Question, Please Answer: Does Anyone Here NOT Drink?

For your sakes, I hope those of you parading around in your holier-than-thou attitudes either develop some form of substantiation behind your "beliefs" that'll hold up to logic, or shut up about them before you make it to college. People don't shun you because you don't drink, they probably shun you because you lord your "superior" morality over them. Besides, bashing something before you try it doesn't really make sense, does it?

Apologies to any exceptions to my general statements. I'm just going by what I read on the first page.

Should you drink?
- Keep an open mind.. I personally enjoy drinking social once in a week or once in a month.. Not much, and in moderation. I enjoy it and I am pretty good with my studies as well

How much should you drink?
- Well, I've made some mistakes during my highschool years. During my junior year, I've been knocked out due to excessive drinking (let's say several shots of vodka)... The hang overs used to kill me.. Each time I got drunk I was more determined to either stop drinking or drinking in moderation.. In the senior year, I handled things much better.. The few times I went out to drink with friends.. it was mostly beer. Some hard drinks in moderation.. I enjoy this much much more..

If you are drinking social, my suggestion is you make a pact with a good friend of your's that you'll stop each other when you begin to over drink.. This has worked great for me in senior yr, HS.. We keep ourselves in check.. incase one of us is in the mood of overdoing it..

Is drinking Bad for Health?
Rememeber, drinking is BAD for health... whatever people may say.. It kills your brain cells and weakens your liver.. If you drink in moderation, and put limits.. you'll be able to enjoy it without seeing much of its illeffects.. But if you decide you are going to plunge into it.. especially in college, you are headed for lots of trouble
