Hey, well, when I asked some other people they laughed, but I'm being entirely serious here. Do you guys think I could bring an mp3 player into the testing room and test with it? Because my main problem is that I get bored, very very easily. Even while I take practice tests, the radio is on softly or classical music is playing. I mean, there's no way I could possibly cheat with it. People cheat more with their calculator, you know? And here's what I think . . . I should wear it under a hoodie or something of the sort, and even if I do get caught (which I dont think I will), I'm at a 70% confidence level that I would have canceled anyway because I do not think I'm sufficiently prepared.

What do you guys think, I mean, the worst that will happen is that I have to cancel my score, right? It won't go on my permanent score record or anything, right? Plus it will help me concentrate so much better.
Complete silence with someone tapping their foot, coughing, vibrating their chair, etc, it kinda annoys me. Or should I just suck it up and learn to test like that now since my college tests will (maybe) be like that in the future?

Actually I didn't even find a rule against this ON THE SAT tests. For the AP tests, its not allowed though. . . maybe I should contact the proctor, and show her that I can't possibly use it as a cheating device, and I'd never play it too loud . . my score went from missing 3 on the huge grammar section to missing 0, I mean . . if it helps someone concentrate. .

I don't think you can listen while testing. Just my honest opinion - it is highly likely that most proctors will ask you to put your mp3 player away and not operate it until the entire testing session is over.

What Not to Bring to the Test Center
A watch with an audible alarm
Scratch paper
Notes, books, dictionaries
Compass, protractor, ruler, or any other aid
Highlighters or colored pens or pencils
Portable listening or recording device (with or without earphones) or photographic equipment (Note: Acceptable CD players with earphones are required for the listening tests.)
Cellular telephone or pager

WEllll . . . maybe it's for the better . . .someone told me they tried that and not only got their score canceled, but got lambasted and 50 lashings, lol.
