i recently just checked my application status to urochester (don't ask why i didn't do it earlier...stupid stupid me). amd apparantly, like EVERYTHING is missing...they don't have my personal statements, transcripts, recommendations, NOTHING. it looks like all they got was my SAT scores. and thats weird, because they sent me an email asking if i wanted an interview...so i'm really confused. what is going on??!!!!

so their "Status" website system sucks...lots of the stuff you give them isn't always marked as received. I suggest you call them and not go by what the website says.

definitely call. they will probably be able to tell you right there on the phone what they have and don't have. good luck, though!

Yes, call for sure. My son also had some trouble with his app but got it straightened out.

they do ask for interviews regardless, even for people that haven't yet applied. but don't worry. they didn't get my SAT scores until about 2 months after i sent them. and that didn't really deterr much.

They had a problem with processing SAT scores, I know that for sure. I don't know about other stuff, though. Let us know what happens when you call. :) I'm sure it'll be fine.

umm...who do i call? lol sry, but i've never mad problems with any of my other applications before

Try the toll free number at 888-822-2256, which should get you through to Barbara Toomey in the Admissions Office. If that doesn;t work, the general admissions number is 585-275-3221.

who's barbara toomey?

Ms. Toomey works in the admissions office. She's been incredibly helpful for my son, although I don't know her official title. (She literarlly rescued my son from the airport when he got in five hours late.)

If she's not the right person, she'll get you to someone who will help.

aha yes! they have everything...phew, what a scare
thanks for the help everyone!
