I took my SAT a 2nd time and got the results today. I worked my butt off everyday after school studying for the math portion of the SAT because the first time I got a 460. I got a 570 Reading, 460 Math, and 610 writing. The 2nd time, I got a 560 Reading, 460 Math, and 670 Writing. 1700 total. I was SOOO convinced I did better and I feel like crying ): I am dying to get into University of Pittsburgh main campus. It's all I want. My junior year, I got a 4.0 weighted for the year, 3.5 unweighted I think. I took AP US History, AP English, College in high school physics, and regular math. I made high honor roll. I am President of Orchestra, President of Interact Club, VP of Chorus, in National Honors Society, Social Committee, SADD, and French Club. I volunteer year round: during the school year a a tutor for k-2nd graders for 3 years now and at a hospital on Pitt's campus(my mom works for UPMC) for my 4th year now. I toured them and get constant mail from them, and I contact them with questions sometimes. I am VERY interested. My essay is about Syria, (my parents are Syrian) and how it use to be so beautiful and now is hell, etc, and how I volunteer to be the good in the world. My letters of rec are from my Physics and AP US teacher, who saw me progress. I started with a D in physics and made it an A because I knew Pitt wouldn't accept me with a D, and my physics teacher wrote the letter about it. Anyways, do you think I'll get in? I honestly don't know what I'll do if I don't ):My SAT score came as a shock to me ):
