for real, what would it really take to get your acceptance rescinded?

1 or 2 F's? What about all B's, or all C's?

I think i'm going to end up with 3 A's, 3 B's, and 1 C-. Keep in mind that my HS GPA has been 3.67 until now, and i've never gotten below a B-. So, obviously my senior year gpa is going to be lower than that...

edit: first semester GPA was 3.5ish, second semester will probably end up being around 3.2

should i even be worried? all you guys with more experience, shed some light please.

Would the fact that there are going to be more freshmen than expected make it easier to get rescinded?

Dammmmmn dude, Ionno, that's cuttin it close!

Since there's so many freshman this year, and they overenrolled, I guess rescinding applications might be more frequent than previous years. If it was any previous years, I would say don't sweat it.

But umm, Ionno. People what you guys think?

Don't worry. Just try not to get a D or lower - they definitely wouldn't rescind admission for one C-; in fact, they almost definitely wouldn't rescind for one D.

My avg for this semester should be a 3.4 but C+ and the D is bothering me.

Do you think writing a letter to them explaining the reasons for the poors grades would help or is better to ignore it unless they send me something?

Would they rescind without a warning or an opportunity to share the reasons for your poor grades?

I can imagine someone that gets C, D's and an F may be recinded but a student with a 3.4?

I'll keep my fingers crossed and try to raise my grades. (The D is in math).

I really doubt any of you will get rescinded, though I really hope (and think) I didn't get a C in any of my classes second semester (maybe weight training, lol). Does anyone know when rescind letters are sent out?
