Server Overload?

When the decisions are released on Thursday, I’m assuming almost everyone logs on at once right. Will the system overload…like what happens to collegeboard.com the day the SAT results are released. Is it possible we’ll have to wait a while while system becomes “less busy”. EA people, what happened during your decision round?

i'm sure it'll be fairly overloaded but i've heard of people getting right on.. my advice would be to try at 5 and if you don't get it try every half hour or so..

upenn ed'er - got my decision the second the clock struck 3pm.. no problems

Yeah I didnt have any problems..but ED round only involves ~3500 people..pinging the server..now we are looking at ~18500 hitting the sever at once...it maybe a bit slow..try five minutes before the decisions are released..or right at 3..I dont think you will have too many problems if you check right at 3..but 305 and 310 might be when it slows down.

RD decisions are released at 5PM, not 3PM.

yeah I got deferred at 3:03 :)

i applied ED at brown n i strictly remember getting my decision at 5:22pm and the decision came out at 5. it was just really slow loading n then all of a sudden it clicked through

yeah sorry about that I meant 5...during the ed round it was at 3..my mistake...
