<p>EugeneS...I am not backing up from my point. I'm not saying that military academies aren't difficult to get into - they are. But not as hard as top academic schools.</p>
<p>Why? Because leadership, ethics, intelligence, and strength can all be found in a West Point attendee. However, you need an abundance of one to get into a top academic school. </p>
<p>No denying that life is way harder at a military academy. Anyone read the Time magazine headline story a few weeks ago?</p>
<p>(I was accepted to the Air Force academy - I declined, I am not able to lead that type of lifestyle...which was a real dissapointment considering all the work I needed to do)</p>
<p>Also, there come a time in life where you should stop calling people who hold different opinions than you ignorant.</p>
