SES vs. Cornell CURIE

I applied to both Santa Clara’s Summer Engineering Institute and Cornell’s CURIE; both are during the same week. I just received my acceptance for SES this evening, and am waiting on CURIE. Has anybody gone to either one before, and if so, how were your experiences? Assuming I get into CURIE as well, which one do you recommend I attend? Of course, there’s the fact that SES is free, but which one will provide a more worthwhile experience? My goal is mainly to experience different fields of engineering, so I can decide if engineering is for me.

Did you ever hear back about CURIE? My D was denied for SES but waitlisted for CURIE. We are still waiting. In
the meantime, she has accepted another program.

@Blessedmother I was rejected from CURIE :’( But good luck to your daughter for the waitlist!
