Set me in the right direction please

Hi, I still haven't recieved my email on my decision.

Here's my story.

I lost my PIN number so I emailed to an automated machine with Access Code as the subject and the body had my name Adam Goudarzi. I got my PIN and put it in the Admitted Students Portion of the website.

Goudarzi
xxxxxx

Just like that.

The response is User Not Found

Should I forget about Harvard and move on with my life. I know people have been saying this, but is it really true? Are there exceptions on CC? I know there is a moratorium so I can't find out till Thursday. I just don't want to spend my Spring Break, wondering if I'm not accepted. Can someone set me in the correct state of mind?

I am in your same situation, I did not ask for email decisions though, and am waiting for the mail. It didn’t come today. I can’t log in and it says I have the wrong access code. I have gradually explained to myself that I have probably (99%) gotten rejected. Even though I expected this, it still feels so bad.

No hope then … ;)

Wait, I think I have figured it out

If it says User Not Found, then I am sorry but you have been rejected or at best, waitlisted

If it says wrong ACCESS CODE, then someone else with the same last name got in instead of you. Then you can be rejected or waitlisted

So yeah, this does suck.

Lol even though we probably got rejected, I’m sure that there are admitted students who have the same last name (Patel, Nguyen, etc.), so your second explanation is wrong.

Guess I should really give up :(
