Seton Hall in a bad neighborood ?

I have heard that Seton Hall was in a bad neighborood with lots of crime

Anyone know if this is true?

I went there. YEP. LOL

Well ok the campus is surrounded by like walls and gates so no one can get in if you aren't a student or a faculty member or like visiting. It's in South Orange which is pretty much like a ghetto. I used to recieve emails like a few days a week from campus security about someone being robbed right outside the walls of campus. It's like once you step outside the campus you're on your own. It's nice during the day, the campus is near like I guess the richer part of town, but a few minutes drive down the street and you've hit the ghetto. Seton hall is also a private school so it's a target of people from town who want some money. I commuted so I only had to worry about stopping at the stop light and getting my car stolen from me. Any more questions? I don't think many people who go there go here so if you need specific stuff about the campus I used to go there.

thanks platinumtlc,

I was also wondering about fraternities. I know someone who goes there and she said that if you dont join a fraternity you wont fit it. Is this true?

I was also wondering how good of a school seton hall is. Is the schools academics worth its pricetag?
